HOW DOES THE AUTOMATIC PAYMENT PLAN WORK?

THE UTILITIES BOARD WILL CONTINUE TO MAIL YOU A MONTHLY BILL. IT WILL SHOW ON THE BILL THAT YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN PAID BY BANKDRAFT. AROUND THE DELIQUENT DATE SHOWN ON YOUR BILL, THE NET AMOUNT DUE WILL BE DEDUCTED AUTOMATICALLY FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. YOUR MONTHLY BANK STATEMENT WILL SHOW THE AMOUNT DEDUCTED BY DRAFT FROM YOUR ACCOUNT.



WHAT IF I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT MY BILL?

IF YOU SEE THAT YOUR BILL IS INCORRECT OR YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE THE BILL. ANY NECESSARY ADJUSTMENT WILL HAVE TO BE MADE BEFORE THE BILL AMOUNTS ARE SENT TO THE BANK FOR AUTOMATIC PAYMENT FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!

WHAT IF I CHANGE BANKS?

THE AGREEMENT THAT YOU SIGN IS FOR A SPECIFIC BANK ACCOUNT AND BANK. IF FOR ANY REASON YOU CHANGE BANKS OR ACCOUNTS WITHIN A BANK, YOU WILL NEED TO SIGN A NEW AGREEMENT.
